Ochatsubo do-chu
This Ochatsubo Dochu is a re-creation of the historical Edo period practice of preparing to bring the first pick of Uji tea for the Tokugawa shoguns by gathering the tea in Yamura to age for one summer before transport. Stands selling fresh locally grown vegetables and other goods are also popular attractions during the event.
