Midoriya
One of Otsuki’s famous local delicacies is Sasago-mochi, a variety of leaf-based mochi rice cake with sweet bean jam. The origin of Sasago-mochi is the Chikara-mochi ("It is a strength-giving rice cake.") once sold at Sasago Pass, one of the toughest climbs along the Koshu-Kaido highway.
