Ushikura Shrine Annual Festival
The Ushikura Shrine Annual Festival is a festival to give thanks to the five gods of agriculture who bring about the autumn harvest, and has long been a place of worship for local residents.
The festival is held over three days, with a parade of mikoshi (portable shrines) from each district on the first day, and a parade of Dashi (perform ohayashi music on a float) from Shinmachi and Honmachi on the second day. In addition, various types of stalls are set up in the temple grounds on the second and third days.
