Takao Komagino Garden
Located along the old Koshu-Kaido highway that runs through Uratakaomachi, the Takao Komagino Garden is the only traditional Japanese garden in Hachioji. The circular garden surrounds a pond and features a Japanese rock garden, roji dewy ground sections as well as seasonal flowers, wildflowers, brightly colored nishiki-goi carp, and bonsai trees. There is a small cafe inside as well, where you can enjoy views of the garden with matcha green tea and other light refreshments.
