Obarajuku Honjin
This is the only remaining honjin (a stately lodging for daimyo feudal lords traveling to or from the capital of Edo) in Kanagawa Prefecture and hence holds important historical and cultural significance. In the Edo Period, only the daimyo and his top officials stayed in these honjin while the numerous other family and retainers traveling with him stayed in secondary waki-honjin or local inns.
