Nagominosato Hot Spring and Recreation Complex
The Tsukimachi Hot Spring sits in a central location in this recreational facility surrounded by forest, and the area has many folk tales related to the moon (tsuki). The stunning beauty of the full moon casting its reflection on the pond as it rises into the sky over the mountains is said to have inspired haiku poet Matsuo Basho to write a poem about the area during his stay in 1683.
